We are delighted to invite third-year students to participate in the Contest of Video Presentations “Technological Advances in My Future Profession”.
| 📘 Contest Overview: |
🎯 Objectives:
· To inspire students to explore and present technological advances related to their future professions.
· To motivate students to demonstrate creativity and innovation in showcasing their major fields.
· To provide students with an opportunity to practice delivering clear and professional presentations in English.
· To encourage the use of multimedia tools, visuals, and creative approaches for engaging presentations.
· To support students in developing critical thinking and communication skills through independent work.
👥 Target Participants
Third-year students of higher education institutions.
| 📑 Guidelines for Preparing: |
🗣 Individual Delivery: You are expected to prepare the presentation individually, demonstrating your personal understanding of your area of expertise.
📖 Content: Share any information on technological advances you think are important and useful in your future profession.
🌅 Creativity: Be innovative! Use visual aids, charts, diagrams, or multimedia to make your presentation more engaging.
⏱ Duration:
The presentation should last 4–5 minutes.
Language:
The presentation should be delivered in English.

- Date for Submission: 06.10. 2025 – 22.11.2025.
- Format: Create a presentation using any application you like. While delivering the presentation shoot a video. Prepare a brief description of your presentation in a word doc. format.

| 💻 Presentation Guidelines: |
· Define and set the objectives of your presentation clearly.
· Create a powerful introduction and memorable conclusion to engage and leave a lasting impression on the audience.
· Outline the body of the presentation with logical and coherent points.
· Structure your presentation by organizing the sequence of parts and designing it with relevant visuals, applying necessary ICT tools.
· Deliver the presentation in a simple and straightforward manner, maintaining a high level of speech culture; use appropriate voice and language effectively, paying attention to articulation, pace, voice timbre, intonation, and pausing (both syntactic and psychological).
· Manage body language to create a strong rhetorical image: posture, spatial presence, eye contact, hand gestures, and facial expressions.
· Create effective visual aids by designing slides thoughtfully, using colors, fonts, charts, and graphs properly.
· Make the presentation dynamic through the use of animations and multimedia elements to enhance engagement.
