English for Science. 3rd session

📝 On November 5, ‘English for Science’ – the scientific-oriented club of the Department of English for Engineering 2 – held its third session on “Skills for delivering an effective presentation”.

During the meeting, the participants explored key features of successful presentations, including structure, clarity of message, visuals, and audience engagement. Students analysed a real-life example of an impactful public speech and identified what makes a speaker credible and persuasive. They discussed strategies for designing slides, creating strong openings and conclusions, and managing stage presence and confidence.

At the end of the session, students practised delivering short, well-organized presentations, applying the techniques covered in class.

Participants were invited to continue working on their individual topics and present their scientific research and interests during the December session.
