MOTIVATION LETTER REQUIREMENTS
- A motivation letter is a formal letter which you need to write if you are applying for university/college admissions, a non-profit, or a volunteering institution.
- A motivation letter is used to describe why you are the perfect candidate for a certain position.
- There are generally three main parts of a motivation letter:
- Introduction: make a short, engaging pitch about yourself and why you are applying. Your introduction should capture your recipient’s attention and encourage them to read on.
- Body: describe and highlight your experiences, demonstrate your achievements, skills, and passion for whatever you’re applying for.
- Conclusion: summarize your goal(s) and leave a positive final impression. You should also thank your recipient for considering your application and encourage them to contact you if they have any questions.
