In June 16-22, 2024, Tetyana Golub, associate professor of the Department of English for Engineering #2 of the Faculty of Linguistics, participated in the International Summer School “Internationalization and Internationalization at Home through Virtual Exchange: Creating a Motivating Environment for Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)” organized by the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland) as part of the “AMU Summer Schools 2.0” project for Ukrainian partner universities.
The international summer school united 30 representatives of higher education institutions of Ukraine, which provided an opportunity to establish new professional connections and develop further international cooperation.
The internship took place in the Palace complex Pałac w Dębinie, 40 km from the city of Poznań.
During the lectures and trainings, the participants were introduced to the main principles of internationalization in education, regional and global trends and ratings in higher education. The lecturers shared their own experience in developing COIL projects.
The attention was focused on learning in different COIL formats, from individual classes to joint courses. Interactive activities aimed at developing one’s own educational projects became especially valuable.
The project of international summer schools has been financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchanges NAWA.
