📝 March 18 – “English for Science” Club, Session 6: “Biomedical Engineering (Academic Writing Skills)”
On March 18, the 6th meeting of the science-orientated “English for Science” club of the Department of English for Engineering 2 was held, focusing on academic writing in the field of biomedical engineering. During the session, students explored the structure of academic texts, key writing conventions, and discipline-specific terminology.
Participants practised expressing scientific ideas in English, analysed examples of professional texts, and developed their use of specialised vocabulary. The session was interactive and aimed at enhancing academic writing skills, critical thinking, and professional communication.
Students were also encouraged to continue participating in the club’s activities to prepare their final projects and further develop their academic competencies.
