Head of the Department, Prof. Yuliana Lavrysh, participated in the UniCollaboration conference “Virtual Exchange in a Changing World: Innovation and Inclusion” and presented the report “Making Invisible Skills Visible: Recognition Strategies for VE” together with Prof. Iryna Simkova. She also co-facilitated a workshop on Critical Virtual Exchange (CVE) as a tool for trust and peacebuilding.
The conference provided an inspiring platform for professional exchange, networking, and developing new connections with colleagues from universities across countries and contexts.
The discussions highlighted key directions for the future of Virtual Exchange, including innovative and inclusive strategies for VE implementation and recognition, the role of AI in Virtual Exchange, and the impact of VE on student learning, intercultural dialogue, global engagement, and the development of transferable skills.
