1. Transfer of bachelor’s degree students of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” between foreign language disciplines is carried out after the student completes the study of the educational component in the 2nd year of study (after the end of the 4th semester) or the 4th year (after the end of the 8th semester).
2. Master’s degree students of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” study the foreign language for the unified entrance exam (EVI). The transfer of master’s degree students to the study of a foreign language other than the one specified in the EVI certificate is possible on the condition of obtaining an international certificate, an EVI certificate in a second language or a certificate of language courses indicating the level of proficiency in a foreign language at least B2 in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
3. Algorithm for transfer of bachelor’s and master’s level applicants of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” provides the following stages:
4. The applicant submits an application for transfer between educational components on learning a foreign language (See the button below);
5. The applicant agrees the application with the language teacher of the educational discipline which the applicant is transferring;
6. The applicant applies to the department that provides teaching of the educational component;
7. The applicant passes the test to determine the level of proficiency of the language he/she wants to learn;
8. The teacher of the transferred educational component approves the application, provided that the level of language proficiency meets the program requirements.
9. Transfer of bachelor’s and master’s degree students of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” between educational components for learning a foreign language can be carried out no later than September 1st of the academic year from which the study of the discipline begins:
10. For bachelor’s degree applicants – in the 3rd year of studying (from the 5th semester);
11. For master’s level applicants – in the 1st year of studying (from the 9th semester).
