Over the past two months, Professor Yuliana Lavrysh has actively participated in the international project EVO-2024 and successfully completed the course “Creating AI-Generated Activities for ELT.” The Electronic Village Online (EVO) project annually brings together
English language instructors from around the world, offering short-term professional development programs. These programs are developed by leading experts in education and focus on exploring current topics and practical application of various teaching methodologies.
The course “Creating AI-Generated Activities for ELT” proves to be extremely relevant and beneficial in the context of modern education trends for several key reasons:
- Integration of Artificial Intelligence into the educational process: The course allows educators to acquire skills in the development and utilization of AI-generated educational materials, opening up new possibilities for improving the effectiveness of teaching.
- Stimulation of innovation in teaching methods: The integration of AI-generated tasks and resources enhances student motivation and makes the process of learning a foreign language more interactive.

The “Creating AI-Generated Activities for ELT” course lasted for five weeks, during which participants explored new opportunities in artificial intelligence and completed practical tasks on the following topics:

🔹 Development of educational materials based on visual content created with AI.
🔹 Creation of educational materials using AI platforms.
🔹 Crafting e-books for implementing the “storytelling” method.
The gained experience has proven particularly valuable as participants had the opportunity to interactively communicate, exchange ideas and materials, and receive instant feedback and advice from course instructors. In the context of current education trends, this provides
important insights into the use of artificial intelligence to enhance the teaching and learning process.
