TESOL Italy and TESOL-Ukraine are starting a new project – a series of webinars “Sharing Contexts Across Cultures”. During May 2022 each week we’ll have a chance to attend the workshops of Italian colleagues and get acquainted with the organization and its members. In return, Ukrainian TESOL-Ukraine members will be presenting every week too, giving the chance to our Italian colleagues to learn more about Ukrainian ELT community. English Language Teaching in Ukraine

In this webinar participants will learn about the Ukrainian educational system, which is organized into five levels: preschool, primary, secondary, upper secondary and postgraduate education and get acquainted with English Language Teaching at all levels.

Oksana Chugai

TESOL-Ukraine Secretary Oksana Chugai has Ph.D. in Education, she is an Associate Professor of the Department of English for Engineering № 2, National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”. She is a PTE Oral Examiner (Pearson Test of English), Cambridge-certified teacher (CELTA, TKT) and Independent External Testing Examiner; she has completed internships in the USA, Belgium and Germany. Oksana has more than 20 years of practical experience working as a teacher trainer and lecturer. She regularly takes part in TESOL-Ukraine, UERA and other international events. She is the member of the Editorial Board of Advanced Education Journal on issues of foreign languages teaching. Her main fields of interest are alternative assessment, distance course design, professional development of English teachers.
